At Mitchell Psychiatric Hospital, darkness is more than a metaphor.

Ethan Thomas is a Siphoner—someone capable of absorbing and transferring the darkness carried by other people. But darkness cannot be destroyed. It can only be moved.

When Ethan meets Anelia Santos, he discovers something he has never seen before: a storm-like cloud of dark energy surrounding her, filled with strange blue and purple particles. Her presence challenges everything he understands about Siphoners and draws them both deeper into a hidden world of dangerous abilities, secretive Elders, Healers, and Sanctums.

As relationships fracture, old trauma resurfaces, and the cost of using their abilities becomes increasingly devastating, Ethan must confront the darkness he carries within himself—and decide how much he is willing to sacrifice to protect the people he loves.

Sanctum is a dark paranormal psychological fantasy about trauma, addiction, love, power, and what happens when the darkness inside us has nowhere left to go.
