Her teaching career spanned more...Living in Texas for 40 years has been an adventure, but Karen still proudly claims her Cincinnati roots. She earned her Bachelor of Science in English and French, summa cum laude, in 1975, and a Master’s in Secondary Education with a concentration in French in 1978. Her teaching career spanned more than thirty years across five states, including a 10-year hiatus to raise her two daughters. Since retiring, Karen established a ministry as a blogger and author. Originally called Touched by Him, it is now known as Karen Jurgens Ministries. Over the past 14 years, Karen has earned an associate’s degree in biblical studies and is currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program. She has also received a certificate of study from Precept Ministries for a two-year course in Revelation, as well as a one-year course at Bible Study Fellowship. She has enjoyed her personal study of Revelation and Bible prophecy for more than fifty years, including reading dozens of books by well-known authors. Karen has pursued a lifelong study of the Word, guided by the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. Karen’s novella, A Perfect Fit, aims to encourage others by applying God’s Scripture to life’s trials, particularly in the context of Christian marriage. Karen is also a devotional contributor and editor of Love Knots and Heartwings Devotional, both available on Amazon. She also wrote a Bible study on the Fruit of the Spirit and a Survey of Revelation, both available on her website, Karen Jurgens Ministries. Her latest book, The Beginner's Journey Through Revelation, has recently been published and is available on Amazon. Her hobbies include cooking, reading, and traveling. She loves spending time with her two adult daughters, who are pursuing their own adventures, and visiting her baby grandson in Tennessee.
