I had gained a teaching certificate, but spent most of my working life as a secretary. I owned and ran a pub in Belgium between 1989 and 1993. Throughout my life I have painted, mainly commissioned pieces, but also produce my own book covers.Since moving to Werrington, Staffordshire, I have written a triage of books – historical/paranormal books based around the Pottery Riots of 1842.Footsteps in the PastFootsteps in the Past – the SecretFootsteps in the Past – John’s Story. Then came “Munford-Gunn” about the pioneering and life-threatening journeys of two families, leaving England to set up home in Utah, America, to escape the persecution faced in England for practicing their religion. My next book is “The Barlaston Murderer – Leslie Green”. Leslie Green brutally murdered Mrs Wiltshaw, the wife of a pottery owner in 1952. He was hanged for the murder on 23 December 1952.This was followed by “The Day the Sun Disappeared” about the true story of the RAF Fauld explosion in 1944.“The Rough Close Murder”, a true history mixed with paranormal. I scripted this and recorded it in a studio with a cast of ten, adding background sounds and music to the tape. It is now available on Audible and Amazon. I would like to see this as a stage production and have sent a script to various theatre companies for consideration for next year.My latest book is “A Llanrwst Christmas, Not Worth Dying For” – a true story, from 1937, about Caroline Williams, who was accused of murdering her husband and sentenced to death by hanging. I prove in the book that she could not possibly have murdered her husband as she was accused of doing – cutting his neck and severing the jugular. My contact details are maggiemoxom@aol.com; telephone – 079304 26738. Paperback books and ebooks, are available through Amazon.co.uk. Amazon.co.uk : margaret moxom
